EVERGREEN SPEEDWAY PIT POLICY REMINDERS

This is a friendly reminder about our policies for being in the Pits. It’s a good sign for the state of racing in the Northwest, when we are bringing over 100+ drivers and teams on Saturday Nights. However, with the increased number of participants, we need to all be AWARE of our surroundings, and ensure that Safety is our #1 priority.

PERSONAL VEHICLES IN PITS
As a reminder, there are NO PERSONAL CARS (nor have there ever been) ALLOWED in the Pits. Evergreen Speedway has purchased a new Pit Shuttle Bus that will transport drivers, crew and family from the Turn 2 Pit Gate to the Pits. We encourage teams to have all the equipment, coolers, chair etc. loaded into your trailers. Effective June 10th this policy will be strictly enforced for everyone’s safety.

CHILDREN IN THE PITS
We want the next generation of drivers to learn about our sport. And we think it’s great that families can stay together on race day. Keep in mind, however, that this policy is a privilege, and can be reversed if safety concerns become an issue.
Children under 10 especially, need constant parental supervision
Please stay out of other drivers’ pits, respect boundaries
No Strollers
No Bicycles, Scooters, Skateboards, Wagons etc.

NO DOGS OR ANIMALS ALLOWED IN THE PITS UNLESS REGISTERED SERVICE ANIMALS

SAFETY AWARENESS
We are all aware that racing is a dangerous sport. The Pit Area needs each and every one of us to watch out for all potential dangers. Please choose low traffic safe zones while walking the Pits, and please maintain speeds below 10 miles per hour in the Hot Pits.

Thank you for understanding and thank you for your support of Evergreen Speedway!
